My plant just arrived today. I'll take some pictures tomorrow. Very tiny...six growths, only one of which is more than an inch long. It's also mounted on something I've never seen before...almost like tree fern, but the fiber is much finer, and it looks synthetic. Kind of reminds me of a pad I might use to scrub my dishes.

Cool, looking forward to the pictures. I like to see the mount material.

Sounds like EPIWEB or one of the other materials like it.

Here's the picture. I'm afraid I don't have the photography skills of some of you. There's a little big of sphag around the roots, and I was told it was mounted only a short time ago.

Well I just got my Leptotes in today from Andy's. It looks incredibly healthy as well as its TCs. I took some pictures and will be posting them later on tonight.

Hey Guys & Gals.
I'm going to bow out of this project. I just found out that 2 flasks are ready for me and are on the way!
OMG...I'm going to be up to my eyeballs in baby chids.
I look forward to reading your updates though.

I hope no-one minds but I've added 'Cool/Intermediate/Warm' to the title the project threads, for people like me who are following the projects which they are not part of, but can't remember which plant is which .

Anyone know what an emerging spike/sheath looks like on one of these? I have what looks like a very tiny white *thing* coming out the crown of one of my pseudobulbs. I gently tried to brush it away in case it was a piece of dust or a baby mealybug, but it does appear to be part of the plant.

It looks like a sheath or spike getting ready to form. keeping my finger crossed for you. The one to the left seems to be a old spike.
