Yeah, these guys are cuh-razy! Mine is just about to open three blooms on three spikes.
BTW, Melissa et al. — I have heard indeed that they can basically bloom themselves to death.

Mine took a short rest for a few weeks and then decided to start blooming again! I love this little one! I gave away my previous mounted one since my project one, potted, is easier to care for!

Since mine took a six-month "rest" after I got it, it's now showing no signs of stopping: three blooms, with another spike on the way. Plus tons of healthy new roots poking out of the bottom of the net pot. Great little 'chid, it turned out to be!!

I have been growing mine in a north facing window and it's been happy there. Two spikes have been going for a while - blooms and constantly getting more buds. It now has started two new spikes as well. Tho I do live farther south - don't know if thats the difference.
I have yet to re-pot mine I need to do that but am afraid to mess with it lol

I haven't repotted mine yet either. It doesn't seem to mind. I reckon I'll do that in the spring. For now the roots are growing up from the bottom and out over the top of the pot! And yes it's still blooming. 1 flower each on two spikes.

I have been so busy with other things going on around my house but my little Retro Gal is getting ready to bloom for the third time. Still loving her spot getting afternoon sun and a water each morning and fertilizer once a week. I'm glad I mounted her. I'll get pictures posted as soon as I see her bloom.
Anybody going to the AOS Show on Friday in Delray Beach??

Thanks, White Rabbit. That's very encouraging. My little plant came mounted on epiweb and I'm thinking it might do better in a pot but it's in such poor condition that I hate to disturb it further.

I just wanted to say that I'm so glad to have participated in this project. It has been fun reading all the ups and downs of everyone else.
I probably would have never added this mini to my colllection because of the size and where I grow. My little 'Retro Gal' is still blooming and budding since she started last year. She even got a cultural award at the February Society meeting. Mounting her on cork was and still is the best way for me. When friends come over they pass right by because she is soo small but I always take them back to see what a cute little chid she is.
