Forgive me for repeating some suggestions from Project 4. I was doing some online research and I decided to search the previous projects to see if my list had previous rejects. Lo and Behold some of mine had been suggested before so I had an easier time researching the information.

Here are some that I would like to consider. I did look them up for availability and I think most of my information is good. I think they made it to the semifinal list for Project 4 so I think the growing conditions are already met, but correct me if I am wrong.

Cochleanthes discolor

Available in Europe (Orchidees Marcel Lecoufle : choix unique Orchidées fleuries et non fleuries)
Available in US (Santa Barbara Orchid Estates SBOE)
AU/NZ - Not sure...

Cochleanthes amazonica

Pescatorea klabachiorum (also klabochorum)

The only other one that I really liked, I could not find out anything regarding availability.

You've listed some really cool chids!

Since they met requirements in an earlier project, they should be fine for this one as long as we can confirm availability.

I will transfer this info into the tentative plant list once we figure out if we could all get them. Since the next chat is scheduled for Thursday 3/19, we have a few days to look further.

I didn't get much done on the list today but I'm hoping for a better day tomorrow. It will somehow get done

I checked EU availability, all of those are here at several places except for Pescatorea lehmannii and Comparettia coccinea. Comparettia ignea is available at one vendor, but I am not sure about their reputation. Will have to look into it if the orchid is available everywhere else!

Hey Susanne,
I want to play. I have always been curious about these group projects. Everyone seems to have such a good time.

Default Social Group invitations

The following members have not accepted their invitation to join the project's social group:

jim blanford

bodaciousbonsai

rtsingleton

Cowboys East

orchider

These 5 members should look at their "Notifications" which is in the login box on the left side of the page, near the top.

While most of the discussions will take place in the open forums, some information will be placed in the social group area and if you haven't accepted the invitation, you will not have access to everything.

If you have any questions, please let me know

Ramon; I will have to desagree with you. I've got 3 Aerangis and the citrata is actually budding on 3 spikes and almost ready to pop open. I'll post pictures when it does open.

Rolando, you do not need to disagree with me I just posted my experience with this species...

furthermore, keep in mind you grow in Miami (higher humidity, than in an appartment in Switzerland)
