Hello,

I haven't ever posted on orchidboard, but I've been reading posts for awhile. I would love to join the project, I currently have about 25 orchids, mostly Dens, Vandaceous, and some misc. I've been growing for about a year now.

Great! I'll start putting together a list of appropriate potential plants, hopefully I can make it to a chat session when they start.

For anybody interested...

there are pages and pages of plants that have been researched for previous projects throughout the member Projects forum. Look for Tentative plant Lists or anything along those lines.

In every project, at least 10 chids make it to the final poll...and only one wins! That leaves a whole lot of plants that we can suggest for the upcoming project

I don't have time to catch up and read the whole thread, but I would like to participate. Is it too late? Did I miss anything important other than the March 13th date for chat?

I noticed that the latest upgrade for Orchidboard has brought us a "Social Groups" option, which you can see by clicking on your UserCP button and looking in the left-hand column.

I've started a "social group" for the members of this project, by "invite only". I'm not sure how it will work but I thought we'd give it a try.

I've invited all members on the participant list and have linked this thread and the participant thread in that group's messages.

It will be a way of project members communicating and posting project pictures amongst ourselves...that's not to say we won't also communicate in the general forums.

If we don't like it, I can always get rid of it...if anybody has questions, let me know and I will try to answer them

Could somebody please post a screen shot of what your invite looks like...I'm curious and I won't be getting one myself
