I saw only 1 cm difference after 1,5 month. It looks pretty slow to me, but may be I'm too impatient.

Whooops! I didn't measure my venustum upon arrival!
Does that mean I have to get another one and start over?

I'm bummed I didn't get in on the project, but paphs don't light my lamp anyway. Will wait for the next project and cross my fingers for a catt selection!

Yes you do! EFG Power Plant inc. of Deland FL has them for sale for 15.00! I am getting one at the Volusia County Orchid Society Mother's Day show!! I hope it is bigger than the one I have!: (In bud would be nice too!)

I'm not a participant of the project. I've got venustum few months ago. But it doesn't mean that you can't get another one.

The picture site we used for this plant to help us vote for it, does not do it justice. I went to the ORchid SHow and saw it in display. WOW!! Its adorable! Very cute, warts and all. Not ugly at all. Im now excited about getting it to bloom!!! The bloom is actually quite small.

I saw a specimen of this plant at the Daytona Orchid Society show with at least 10 blooms and that kept me from backing out of the project! It was AMAZING! I now own three paphs and one phrag and have never grown these! I am going to get another one from Plant Power Orchids at the VCOS Mother's Day show. They have a business here in Deland so I hope I can get some growing tips from them. So far I have found out rain, RO or distilled water, 1/4 strength fertilizer every 2 weeks, low light (early morning sun) and fresh media every 6 months? How does that sound?

The show had tons of Phrags. All orangy types. I fell in love!! I soooo wanted to get one on Sunday, but they were all gone . I know what you mean. Up until last week I only had 1 Paph in my collection. Got that one last year.

Hi Lyn
Unless I'm missing something, what you've got listed here is basically the same plan of attack I have!
We may be totally wrong...but we'll be wrong together
No, seriously...I think that's right.
How about some advice from the Paph Experts?

Did you all repot your Paphs once you got them?
