Maxillaria eliator blooms

I got blooms on my Eliator but they just don't look right, but at least its blooming. Maybe some one can tell me why the flowers didn't grow longer stems.

I'm not familiar with this plant or even the genus however I've had several plants this fall and winter bloom but on much shorter spikes and fewer, smaller flowers. In my case I tend to under-water but more than that I think humidity is my issue. How's your humidity and watering practices?

Good job getting it to bloom though!

My humidity is about 65% and I keep it mix damp but not too wet, it gets watered about ever 6 day in the winter, this is the first time its bloomed for me, I found 5 more bud on it.
