Lycaste consobrina 'Willowpond'
While I do own a piece of this clone, I cannot claim credit for the plant I am showing here. It is grown by Hildegarde Howell of Tewkesbury Orchids in NJ.

I'm not familiar w/this species...do the flowers open up more as it ages or is it one of the closed-cuppy types?

Flowers stay semi-closed. A couple of the first to open are fading now, and they never opened more than shown in photo.
