New Maxillaria on the way
Okay I have a new Maxillaria tenuifolia coming in...how does one take care of one of these? I have to say that my eyes were bigger then my actual knowledge.

I love to search for culture sheets and info, I do go through many pages every single time, collect info. And I love this one - did you order it as a BAG BABY? I think they have one on that side that sells them. That's where I want to get one too:-) Let me know when you get it, post a pic please:-)

I have a couple... but never got to bloom.
It likes enough water, I have both of mine mounted because I found it hard to water enough without worrying about rotting. If it's p-bulbs are wrinkled it can take more water and they DO plump back up again.
I've been told it can take bright light, and this summer I've had them both in direct Sun from about 10am-6pm (changed slightly as the height of the sun and when it clears the near by houses has changed.
Of course that's direct UK sun... but it was there during our really hot (for us) July.

I bought a mini greenhouse to mainly use for the winter. But Im going to use it for the winter as well. Hopefully that will get the humidity up where it needs it and help keep them all happy and blooming come late winter early spring
