I got a nice surprise today - my Maxillaria ochroleuca is starting to bloom

I was expecting it to do so around springtime, so imagine my delight seeing four little cream heads coming out to say 'hello'

A bonus is that the flowers (when open) smell like coconut.
I doubt whether they'll be any more on this p/bulb, but, over the last couple of years it's developed loads of leads. So, I'm hoping that in another couple, it'll be able to put on quite a display.
