ericst11, I'd be interested in trading pollina with you during the next blooming season (winter) if you're up for it. I'm looking to breed these. Maxillaria schunkeana don't self fertilize unless you pull one of those selfing tricks. It's probably better to trade different genetic material anyways.

That's an awesome dark color (the lip's pretty close to being pitch black).

Thats no problem i have 3 new grows or blooms coming up we'll see you can't tell yet and selfing is hard for the maxillarias there touchy.
