Hi From Perth Aust.
Hello everybody . My name is Kim from Perth Australia and have just discovered the total addiction to orchids in the past 6 months. I have built my collection up to 36 orchids, 7 of them from the local tip- yes thats right, someone through away orchids at the tip.
Im totally in love with them, and look forward to lots of learning so I can grow beautiful orchids.

Hi, I have cymbidiums, cattleyas, a dendrobuim and i think they are paphiopedilums. I am still learning about names and what it all means so not much housework or cooking is being done these days. Much prefer to be with the orchids. Hubby is feeling a bit left out.

Hi Stefan, I'm way north in Woodridge near Moore River. About 30 minutes south of Lancelin. Takes me 1hr to get into the city. No traffic lights, a speed limit of 110kms and straight onto the freeway makes it a quick trip!

I have purchased my orchids from ebay actually!! A great supplier in Sth Aust. They come bare rooted and in excellent condition. Others cyms are from suppliers north of the river (not many though) and from my Mum, and other family members who are rapt I have joined them in orchid growing. My family love orchids and have growen for them for years. Funny though not much love between these growers so not much exchange happens. Luckily for me!! I love orchids shopping and one day hopefully will do some exchanging. Dont mind the drive from the bush to the city. Keeps me sane with 2 kids under 5.
