Hello from a formerly anonymous reader

Hello! I've been anonymously using these forums for several months and decided I should finally start posting! I found the site after my first mini phal died of crown rot.

Since then I have kept alive several subsequent mini phals. I've seen new root growth and new leaves on the two plants I've had for the longest time. One of them grew new buds and bloomed from its original spike! I was brave enough to rescue a dry and wrinkly orchid (I think a phal) that my roommate threw away -- so far it's doing okay.

I suppose in addition to "hello" I'd like to say thanks!
