My name is Pearly. I have visited this site many times but was not too keen to become a member. We had orchids at home in Malaysia that grew tall, had stick like leaves, and beautiful blooms. In Kerala, India, we had the same orchids, as well as dendrobiums, and other ground orchids that grew from bulbs. But phals were new to me when I came to the USA 15 years ago. I have over 30 phals, some cattelyas, a few dendrobiums, a couple of cymbidiums, and some oncidiums. I'm learning as I go, because of the difference in climate from the tropical countries I lived in. Thank you all for letting me learn by reading material posted by the members.
