Hello from New York!
Hi my name is Travis, I've been reading the forums for a while now trying to absorb as much information as possible. I currently grow carnivorous plants mostly pinguicula and drosera. I have also been growing bonsai for about 2 years. i have recently become obsessed with orchids, especially miniatures.

One plant obsession oftens leads to another, and it was only a matter of time before you got into orchids! If you like miniatures then you are in luck, there are so many great little species!

Welcome! I love minis too! It's amazing how small some of them are! You can also fit a lot of them in a small space! Perfect for someone obsessed with orchids!

Hi Travis and welcome. Since you have been reading forums for a while, you know what a wealth of knowledge is contained with this group.
Since you are interested in the Masdie's and Pleuro's. There is a great book, Masdevallia's Gems of the Orchid World.
