Hi,
Name is Richard. I'm in my fifties and got bitten by the orchid bug recently after winning two bids on ebay for phal. seedlings. This week I got enough hydroton at the local hydroponics store to last me a very long time. I'm anxious to start a collection mostly of phals. Glad to meet you all. Anyone know of a good place to look for a miltonia on the web? I had a red one years ago that always bloomed between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I miss that plant.
Glad you can join us here at the OB!
Looking forward to see any of your little lovelies
I love milts but I have a difficult time keeping them alive and happy.

I see your from California, me too
In answer to your question the Santa Barbara Orchid Estate has some nice Milts. They are also in California and take orders over the phone. Here is the website

I giggled when I read your statement about having enough Hydroton to last a long time That's what I thought when I bought my first big box of aliflor...that was about 6 boxes ago!!!
