Hi, I am by know means an expert on orchids although I have had orchids for a few years. Mostly plants given to me and most of the Phal. variety. Until recently I have expanded to other species (Catt., Den. and Vanda). I introduced the orchids to a friend and before we knew it she had acquired quite a collection a knowledge of them, she has taught me a few things on them as well. We spend hours sharing picture updates and progress on plants, sometimes ideas on what other orchids to get.

I grow my plants outdoors so they do tend to get attacked by critters now and then but they do manage to survive through most attacks.

I enjoy growing the few orchids I have, anticipating the next spike, get a smile when I see a new root sprouting, and with the variety of orchids out there there is always that one that will catch your eye.
