Hi there and welcome to the OB! I don't know much about Vandas but there are tons of people here that do. I'm sure you will get any help you need.

Hi and

What's happening with the vanda? If you could give us just a few details such as where the vanda is kept, what kind of lighting it gets, how it's being cared for at the moment...and what the problem is, we can probably help you

Where are you located? Vandas need lots of water and light. Water is THE most important factor for vandas as they have no place to store it...we must supply it to them. Here in Florida, that means watering the roots till they are thoroughly green every single day, sometimes more than once a day in summer.

WOW! You guys are great!!!! What a great resourse! Thank you so much!

My Mother will be returning from FL (to NY) with 2 new orchids for me to keep, provided her Vanda is healthy when I give it back, lol. I'll look forward to getting tips on those, too! I've always wanted to own Orchids, as I'm pretty good with plants, but been nervous as they require a different skill than most!
