Hello, I'm new today and am looking forward to learning more about our orchids. My husband and I really enjoy orchids and have been "mostly" successful in keeping them alive. We finally got smart and are growing them under lights. We've just purchased two new orchids and think they are a Brassidium and a Paphiopedulum. We have Shary Baby, which is very much like the Brassidium. Is anyone an expert on the care of these two?
Thanks,
Chrissie

Hi Chrissie,
welcome to the board!
The Sharry Baby and the Brassidium should both be comfortable in intermediate temperature and lighting conditions. The paph should also be okay with intermediate conditions depending on the parentage. If it's a mottled leaf type then it will appreciate warm temperatures. Water once a week or so unless the plants are getting too dry, it's something you get a feel for over time. Fertilize lightly but often during the growing season. The paph doesn't need much fertilizer compared to the other 2 plants. When you water, drench them really well.
