What type of orchid is this?

The orchid looks like a phalenopsis orchid but the flowers are very small and there is a lot of them. Any help is appreciated .

Yes, it's a Phalaenopsis!

There's a lot of variety in the different species of Phalaenopsis, and some of them have very full spikes, with many blooms. If these species are in the background of hybrid Phals, then the multifloral trait can come through, like in your plant. Multifloral hybrid Phals seem quite popular here, I see them in stores on a regular basis, in all sorts of different colors.
