After a trip to my local DIY store for totally unorchid related purposes, I came home with a really pretty mini dendrobium Noid. I don't really have the space for more orchids at the moment, but there is
always room for one more!!
It did have 2 spikes, but the minute I walked in the door, I promptly dropped it on the floor and broke a spike.
I stood there dumbly with the half unpotted plant in one hand, the spike in the other and was ready to scream in utter frustration.
The plant is about 3.5 inches tall, 8 inches with the spike. Flowers are 1.5 inches across. I don't mind it remaining a NOID forever, but having an idea of what it could be would tell me if it needs a winter rest period or not! Also, since this is my first Den, what type of watering and light does it need?
