Wild orchids from South India
I had found many orchid species in Eastern Ghats in India.
First time I am able to see orchids in bloom in this area. Very, very exciting!!. I have added photos and some information about recent orchid findings to my wild flowers website.
It is not allowing me to post links. I am attaching the pictures.
First one : Vanda tessellata
Second one : Acampe praemorsa
Please correct me if I misidentified.

Very cool! We have a lot of orchids here in North America as well but they aren't epiphytes and we can only find them for five months out of the year (at least here in Michigan).

I never thought there are wild orchids exists near my home town.
These found plains near the Eastern Ghats (India). Just 2-3 hours drive from my home town .
It is very exciting to find these in wild. (This place is less explored).
