Default another Depot Home purchase- but what is it?

Hi-

Haven't been here for quite a while- I've lost a few orchids in the mean time, gained a couple...the first year I converted a few of my orchids to S/H they spiked right away!

Anyway, I purchased this cute little orchid at Homey Depot yesterday and I'm not sure what it is...It looks like a phal something-or-other but the spikes are fleshy so I'm not sure what it is!

Can anyone identify this? It was planted in very old sphag and I put it in S/H...decent root system, double spike, not more than 6 inches tall; non-fragrant; flowers about 2 cm. across

It's a phalaenopsis, for sure.

As far as which sort, who knows? Phal hybrids are a dime a dozen and with no tag, you will never know for sure as many hybrids look similar to each other.

What it is, is cute... and it looks healthy and happy.

Its adorable! Looks like like it may have some equestris in it. Not purely, but definately somewhere in the parentage. Heres a reference:
Phalaenopsis equestris

Yes, yes, it resembles a pink form of the equestris! Well, whatever it is or isn't I grabbed it for $8!

Thanks to everyone for the identification help, I figured it was phal-something but that was about it.

Cheers!
Neo

A really pretty one. Yes a Phal of some sort but that's as far as we can say.
