We have quite a few lovely native cyms here and they are all quite similiar to canaliculatum. madidum is similiar but with a more robust leaf type and the one I mostly grow is suave which grows long 'snakes' of leaves rather than the more common basal pseudobulb.
If you were to see them in real life you would see that the flowers are very much a miniature version of the larger more showy flowers you see on the bigger cyms. That said while the flowers may be small the plants more than make up for it with quantity. My suave had 22 flower spikes this year
