It looks a lot like a Onc. Twinkle variety to me also; a closer pic would help though. If you want to see the variations available within this name, just Google 'Oncidium Twinkle" and then look at the images. It will blow your mind with the range of color and size that go by this name

Most of these are smaller growing, prolific bloomers, usually with a multitude of small, long lasting flowers. There is a variety of this at the Indianapolis Museum of Art greenhouse and it blooms heavily twice a year and is VERY fragrant.
I agree not to repot until it has bloomed and is ready to move into a growth stage. But, I also warn you to be very careful with your watering until that time. In pure sphagnum, I would leave it on the drier side in order to avoid rotting the roots, and when you repot the IMA Twinkle loves to be in coco chips in a wooden slatted pot. But oncidiums are really prone to root rot in heavy damp mediums like pure sphagnum. They love having air around their roots!
