Walgreens Special Harlequin Dtps.
Default Walgreens Special Harlequin Dtps.

This sweet little orchid was found at Walgreens, and naturally, had no labeling whatsoever. But since I'm a sucker for purple and picotee edging, I had to have it. I've done some research, and realize it has Harlequin features, but though I've read about some sort of "Taiwan" strain that has nearly solid color with white edging, I can't find any images or documentation. So I'm hoping someone out there could give me an idea of varietal or parentage, or just some link to more like this one.

Also, since it's a NoID, for does this mean I can call it whatever I want for breeding purposes? Not to say I'd call it another registered name; just give it a name of my own...

Glad you found us!

Nice find! Can't answer your questions, sorry - I'm sure someone will be able to.

I suppose you can call it anything you want - as to breeding, I think any progeny would still have to be noids without a proper i.d. of this one But, I'm certainly no expert - I'm sure someone will be able to answer definitively.
