I have a Hwra. Lava Burst which has two new growths, as well as a small plant which I can't identify. It looks like a tiny fern but I can't be sure. The orchid is planted in 3rd grade Australian sphagnum moss and I've only had it for about six months. I bought it bare root and planted it in fresh moss. I can't imagine that this plant grew from the sphagnum moss since quite a number of my other orchids are also planted in this medium (which all comes from the same bag).
It does look like a fern, and they are actually fairly common hitchhikers in orchid pots. It could easily have come with the bareroot plant. A fern spore is far to small to notice. It is harmless unless it begins to overgrow the orchid, and fern roots have even been used as a potting medium. If you think you will like that appearance as it grows out consider it a bonus. If you don't like it, it is easier to remove now than later.
Looks just like cilantro lol! Could be any number of weeds. Many plants' first leaves are quite different from the leaves that grow after that. I really appreciate tiny seedlings growing in the pot with some of my orchids because I know that if the little seedling isn't wilted the medium is still quite moist just below the surface. Post pics once it grows up a bit so we can see what it becomes.
I bought the plant at an orchid show from a vendor from Thailand. Interestingly, we have a show coming up this Saturday and I believe the same vendor will be there. Wonder if they'll recognize it.
its a fern, they hitchike all the time with orchids....they become a nuisance in my gh and i weed em out...they also break down the medium faster and choke out the orchid by suffocating the roots....get rid of it.....gl
