Looks like a Sobralia. I just surfed the IOSPE dictionary under Sobralia and this is just a guess that it's a hybrid. It has the color of powellii and the lip of pumila.
As Ron said, it is not possible to identify with any certainty. It does, however, resemble the cross between Rhyncolaelia (formerly Brassavola) Digbyana and Cattleya (formerly Laelia) pupurata. This hybrid is known by the uninspired name Rc. (Bl.) Digbyana-Purpurata.

I too have the same cross between Rhyncolaelia digbyana and Laelia purpurata. Mine was made with the werkhauserii variety of purpurata. Looks very much like the photo in the original post.
