Orphan Phal Needs an ID
Hello All Once Again:
Another request for ID assistance with a NOID, this time a phal. It actually looks a bit more gold in person where it appears to be pale yellow in this photo.
Thanks for your help!!

I agree that it could be a keleidescope. I have one, here's a picture so you can compare. But it's true, mine's more veiny...

I was googling it and I found this. It's from one of the member's galleries. It is a kaleidoscope... It looks just like yours.

Very Cool - You have a peloric Kaliedescope phal!
First time I have seen one
N_O_R - is yours a 'Golden Treasure' AM/AOS?

Ok, I'm gonna throw another option out there... I have pretty much it's twin . Mine is called Salu Gold Star x Chih Shang's Stripes.
Here's mine... the lip looks a bit darker here, but it's actually about the same as yours, my lighting was just a bit darker though.

Hi Dorothy,
I'm still pretty new to all this, and I don't know what AM/AOS means
But here is a picture of the other spike. It's "more" peloric?

Oh PCgeekchick, just when I thought it was safe to roll up the tent and call it a 'Kaliedescope'!!!
The only difference I can see in yours and mine is that mine is missing the little 'fangs' yours has pointing up for the lip. Mine has more like 'teeth' - a mild ruffling of the lip edge but a check of earlier photos of this plant does show those 'fangs'.
Where did you find your?
At the same time, I can't see a difference between the Salu Gold Star x Chih Shang's Stripes and the Phal. Baldan's Kaleidescope, which I can find pictures of all over the web.
What am I missing??
