Well perhaps mine is AM/AOS because it was labeled as Baldan's Kaleidoscope on the pot (actually I didn't notice it until I repotted it and I was washing the pot)

cneos -

To each there own.

Putting some name to it beats " NOID #016" which is it's current "name". At least in my book. And "Phal. Gold with red veining, red lip with gold and red veining in throat, etc" would end up been described as "like a Baldan's..." any time I talked to someone about the plant.

It remains a NOID if I decide to sell/trade/give away. And I don't bred them. Besides, doesn't reallly matter what we call it as a rose by any other name...

Thanks all for your help.

The only difference I can see in yours and mine is that mine is missing the little 'fangs' yours has pointing up for the lip. Mine has more like 'teeth' - a mild ruffling of the lip edge but a check of earlier photos of this plant does show those 'fangs'.

Where did you find your?

At the same time, I can't see a difference between the Salu Gold Star x Chih Shang's Stripes and the Phal. Baldan's Kaleidescope, which I can find pictures of all over the web.

What am I missing??
Have a look at my photo gallery....the pictures aren't great because I only have a webcam, but I'm very sure it's identical to mine which is a Baldan's Kaliedescope! Exact same colouring.....shape.
