Help!!!!! What species is this?
Default Help!!!!! What species is this?

I was given this orchid as a birthday present and im not sure of the species. It is slowly dying so i need to find out what it is hand how to care for it. Please help!!!!

It looks like some kind of dendrobium to me. I can already see that you have it in a container without any holes (I have the same dish). You'll need to repot your orchid ASAP, but first look at the roots and take a picture if you can. It will help people to give you the best advice.

Yes, appears to be a Dendrobium, section Dendrocoryne I think (like Den. speciosum and kingianum). I have no idea what species or hybrid but it gives you a starting point looking for culture instructions. It looks like it has been badly under-watered, or over-watered till the roots are dead.
