Thank you all for your replies, I really appreciate them.

I REALLY hope it doesn't die! What can I do to save it? I've cut the leaves that are infected with the same scissors but I've tried to clean between every cut. I could take a picture of the leaves if you need but I think everyone knows what it is.

Its so funny that my mom can't exactly take care of an orchid but my dad has an entire collection of them (we don't live together so my dad can't take care of my mom's orchids).

Edit: I think I am okay with taking care of my dendrobium. I put it out in the morning before noon for the high sunlight and then take it inside afterwards but have it infront of the window for lighter, indirect sunlight.

I get confused sometimes when I'm reading about the direction of where the plants are put. If you're facing my house/the window the 'Beallara Tropic Splendor 'Golden Gate'' is to the east and receives indirect sunlight. How much sunlight does it need?
