Default Is it possible to ID my Dendrobium

I know that there are so many Phal hybrids that it's imposible to ID them, but is the same true of Dendrobium?

My local shop only sells NOIDs (most are just labled orchidee) but I buy them when I fall in love with them... but I sometimes wish I had an ID.

I know this is a dendrobium but any chance of anything more..? It would help me know how to care for it.

Sorry but it's the same with both Phals and Dens...lots of hybrids with no names.

Knowing the name wouldn't necessarily give you much more information on it's care. I think standard Den care should do it:

It is really beautiful...enjoy

Ok, I guessed that would be the case. Thanks for confirming it.

I've read the standard sheets already but I have no idea if it is deciduous or not so I've just got to take a middle road with the care.

Oh well... if I kill it then at least I will have enjoyed the flowers for a while and it was quite a cheep one. I've had it two weeks now and all the flowers have opened since I took the photo.

It's in my living room where I can enjoy it... I put it in more light in the day when I'm at work, then move it further into the room in the evening so I can enjoy it

Seems to be a standard hard cane Den...I don't think it will be deciduous or need a winter rest as some Dens do.
