Ah the beauty of a miniature Oncidiums. From what I have read they require a fast-draining potting medium. I personally do not have this particular hybrid but my oncidiums thrive on aliflor, they like well draining medium. They are adaptable as far as light requirements and will grow well along side your Phalaenopsis or Cattleyas. Temperature requirements are intermediate to warm. They also throw secondary spikes so remember do not cut back a demised bloomed spike.

That's really a tiny photo, but, yes, I think it's a Tolumnia.

I agree on the Tolumnia. Especially since Equitant Oncidiums have be given their own family now, Tolumnia. Most people i know that grow these grow them mounted. They should be allowed to completely dry out between waterings. They bloom better in bright light, and even can take some sun. One of the AOS judges in our area throws hers in a tub of water once a week to soak for 15-20 minutes. Otherwise the get the greenhouse humidity, and minimal waterings.

I grow my Tolumnias in clay pots with NO medium. I just wet the pot daily and they do just fine. The roots cling to the clay pot and are stable.
