Please help me ID another NOID
I've had this one for years and (of course) lost the tag . Please help me give this poor child a name. Here are pics of the buds, flower, bulbs, and leaves. Thanks!

Hi Susie, I don't know the name either. I have a similar NOID preparing to bloom. Were the buds speckled before they opened? Here'a a photo of my plant and buds. Our plants look similar too.

If memory serves me correct, the bloom on this one is pretty much basic yellow like yours. We'll have to see how good the old memory is when her buds open. Where did you get your's from?

These are known as 'dancing lady' oncidinae.
Although you may never get an exact id, two of the more prominent and popular grexes (hybrids) of this type are Oncidium Gower Ramsay and Oncidium Sweet Sugar.

I was going to suggest Onc. Sweet Sugar. I have one in spike, and it's got speckled buds. Really hard for me to tell Oncid's apart. They are all very similar, at least to me!

I too think is might have sweet sugar in it as the large yellow skirt is same as sweet sugar. cneos would be right about the exact id as there are so many crosses it's difficult to tell them apart unless they were side by side. Beautiful flower tho!

Thanks, everyone! This one has speckled buds, too. I would like to put a name on the tag (but won't do it unless I am reasonably sure). Does anyone else recognize this plant?
