Hi, new member here. I've been waiting months for my baby oncidium sotoanum to open. It finally did, but I'm not so sure now it's a sotoanum, can someone please tell me what species it is? It looks like an hybrid to me
Kind of looks like Oncidium Tsiku Marguerite (Onc. Twinkle × Oncidium sotoanum). Doesn't really look like species Oncidium sotoanum to me, but I'm no expert by any means. Wait for a more educated response.

PS Doesn't species sotoanum need to be bit pinker in color?

waterwitchin, I think you might be right. What I said can't be right, I had a closer look at the unopened buds and they are pointy but it cannot be a pure sotoanum - it is too small for that, it has been crossed with something smaller.
After some research on the web it does look like tsiku Marguerite, but the colors are very pale, they'd need to be more peachy I think (?)
Anyway, thanks for the answers guys, really appreciated and a bit bummed about it not being botanical, but oh well, she's a pretty lady
