My neighbor traded with me and he lives a few streets away from me.
I don't have a mango tree but I have a black olive that has a sort of similar trunk with rough bark...
Although, i could try to grow it on purchased orchid bark.
I am trying a new method with some of my other orchids. I have not injured any of my plants yet...
I use chicken wire to create a little box and fill that with orchid medium and attach the plant to the box with a zip tie or other things....
I will take a photo of my most recent set up and post at once!
