Default noids

So true. I was buying groceries in a big box store yesterday. Couldn't resist stopping to look at the NOIDS. Lots of cute blooming miniature phals and some very tired looking regular size phals. All had water sitting in the crown. They weren't there last week so maybe they will go out the door before they rot. I was surprised to see Bromeliads and Bonsais too. No wonder I like this store.

Darn it!! I'm looking for mini phals!! All the grocery stores carry for plants around here are the generic houseplant varieties and even then they have them placed in the coldest part of the store........poor things freeze their little butts, er...buds off!!

Do you have a Trader Joe's there? They seem to have some minis there occasionally.

Cool

You guys are cracking me up.
There aren't any cool spots in southern Oregon right now. I have to garden at 7:00 AM when the smoke clears (if it does.) Oregon got enough rain this year, but poor dried up California is burning down and the smoke is blowing up here. Time to hunker down with the orchid board jokesters and a cup of coffee. Maybe I'll put some ice cubes in it.

Oh, the dreaded numb nubs, or maybe not........hmmmmm.

Trader Joe's? Are you kidding? Kiki-do and I just got electricity last month!

Vuylstekeara!!!!! gazoonheit

I can't kid about the smoke, those fires are terrible, we watch (on our 13" B&W T.V.'s with rabbit ears and tin foil balls on 'em) and can't imagine what those people are going through. The people fighting them are truly heros.
