I didn't go back any further than this 
I remember Dennis posting a thread that showed how involved the background of a hybrid phal is.
It is amazing what goes into a hybrid orchid .. the generations of different orchids can be so convulted ..
From doing this little research, to try and identify a hybrid NOID seems all but useless. Best to give it a name you pick out yourself

I planned on it. I now have Phal NOID 'Deep Throat'  with a purple throat. It's in bloom and I will post a pic soon. Thanks D. You're a life saver. |

I'm not sure which I'm more impressed with, the cultivation (parentage) of the plant or Dorothy's knowledge and use of the www.
