Yet another of my blooming hybrids adorning my fireplace just now

These flowers have thicker texture than many hybrids, it tends to always throw two spikes, though not as many flowers on each as some.

It's sometimes yellower than this time, this time it's a pretty pale yellow with a stronger than usual pink blush and pink spotting.

I have the impression humidity is relatively high throughout most of England, because you're never too far from a coast, even in the midlands. What is reality?

It's not low, but it's not as high as some places. I think we average mid to high 70s in relative humidity in the summer and mid 80s in the winter.

I certainly don't have any humidity problems for Phals, even in the house which is drier in the winter due to the heating. I do have a couple of other orchids that need higher humidity.

We are somewhere around 100 miles from the cost, it seems a long way, but on the sale of the USA it's not much
