Bought Phal Gigentea x Phal violacea 'Sumatra Org'
I bought it today from a lady that I did keep in touch and asked her specific I'd like to have. But I didn't expect this one. That's big Phal whhooaaa! It's bigger than my hand. Yes I like it a lot and it smells so nice..
It's in 6 inches pot. I think I am in love... My early Christmas gift for myself...

I think I got it a good deal. I didn't realize they are expensive since I did a lot of researching. A lady and her brother do sell orchids n probably grow them. She's amazing and got me this one. I just learned that it's not like other phals. It requires lot of light, doesn't like to be move around, can't get wet in leaf or in crown, and repottingHmmm. I'm thinking about mount it. Don't know which I should use for. I hope I can grow them. Finger crossed and lot of praying. Thank you very much...

Beautiful phal and congrats on the spike! I am sure a phal that large can put on quite a show.
