Are all Phal roots single or can they branch meaning can a new root grow out from another root? About how many roots shoot out of one plant? Thanks

a picture says it all.........one of the lower roots has 4 branching roots. Remember not all phals are the same but all have multiple roots.

Wow thanks being a beginner I just always thought a single root just grew from the plant. I searched the internet couldn't find anything out on root branching. Thanks for taking out the time to share your response. This here plant is loaded with roots. Thanks
