Hi,
I am new to the forum.
I have a phalaenopsis " hybrid " that was quite sick when i got it and now is in very good health with 2-3 new leaves in just 3 months. The flowering only just stopped 4 weeks ago and I was lazy to cut the stems. However last week a bud grew. Actually a bud has brown everyday and within 1 week i have 3 flowers and 10 buds or so. They look perfect.
My question is what are your opinions about why it grew buds so fast. I was under the impression there was a 2-3 month resting period.
Also will this put the plant under too much stress?
All my other orchids ( about 25 ) all get cut after flowering and for years have reflowered perfect.
This is the first one that is in overdrive mode.
Any thoughts, opinions or facts would be great.

Kinds regards,
Cody
