My family already thinks I am nuts because I travel two hours to the shows in the area...they would have me committed for six! Luckily our oldest attends college in Pittsburgh so I have an excuse.
Yeah, I haven't made it to Chicago for The Chicagoland festival, either.

haha! to e honest though, our show is a small one. not worth travelling 5 hours for, haha! speaking of travelling, i have been dying to go down to Redlands or to an IPA convention!!! the photos from the 2012 IPA convention at Krull Smith were amazing!!!!!!

I know what you mean. The shows here aren't that large, either. West Shore Orchid Society hosts the largest one in Ohio and, well, it isn't huge. Many of our OS travels to Redlands each year but we are always so busy around that time. The international one just blows my mind. Someone posted photos of the last one elsewhere and it was absolutely stunning.

Yeah that's the one Most want to go to! We have some good shows around here. The sepos show at longwood gardens is always good and has international vendors come in. And the national Capitol show is good too

Somehow, I don't think I live in the best orchid zone. The National Capital show...is that in DC? We have family there that actually likes orchids....

yeah it is! its actually at the arboretum in DC, its really nice! that one is always columbus day weekend
