Default Phalaenopsis Liodora

Today I received this one from Schwerter. It was my first time in ordering orchids online, so I was not so sure as what to expect. I can only say that everything was perfect. This was supposed to be delivered 'in bloom' but I really prefer it like this, 'in bud'. The rest of the plants (Phal bellina 'Chin Yeo', Pal violacea var. sumatra and Dendrobium antenatum) were also very healthy and strong looking plants.

The first bloom has opened. I don't smell any fragrance though. Perhaps within a few days?

Nice color! And, the plant has two spikes! Sorry, I can't help about the fragrance part, though!

My Liodora is opening two more blooms. Can't wait to see all the buds open.

I have managed to get hold of a couple of these phals.

Their fragrance is fantastic and they reflower readily on the old flower stems, so don't rush to cut of old spikes!

The fragrance is usually stronger when the room is warmer.
