Phal I-Hsin Salmon 'Copper Star'
This is the 3rd blooming in my care for this one, and each time the spike has more and more blooms! It even has a side spike this time. Other than the color I also love this Phal because of its amazing sweet fragrance in mid-late morning (it only smells for about 2 hours).
Too bad it lost 5 blooms already, but it got quite dehydrated in the 3 weeks that I was away on vacation. I was supposed to drop off it and 10 other orchids at a neighbor's the night before leaving, but she obviously forgot and wasn't home. So I had no choice but to leave the chids to fend for themselves.

Beautiful! Love the orange/coppery color and the bright fushia lip! Fragrance is a bonus too!

This is one of my favorite phals.. I have a different version that's still very small and has far fewer flowers than yours but I absolutely love the colors. Your spike is wonderful, with overlapping flowers perfectly presented. I think the fragrance is the best I've found in a phalaenopsis. This orchid has a reputation for being very floriferous. When it gets large it can carry lots of flowers on multiple spikes. Take good care of this orchid, I think it's very special.

Thanks everyone
Tucker- That's good to know that this one is know for floriferous hybrid! It's fast becoming my favorite Phal, it really does have it all. A shame that I can only enjoy the fragrance during weekend, on weekdays I leave at 8am and there is zero scent at that time. At 10 or 11 however, you can easily smell it from a few feet away.
I'm almost thinking of buying a second one, as a sort of insurance.
