TS Mickey

My lovely little mini phal, TS Mickey has added two more flower at the tip of its ever growing spike. These two new flowers have much less purple pigmentation, looking more white with little spots around the center. first time this is happening. I don't mind it although I like its regular bloom color more, and it still has quite a few.

It has just started a new leaf in a while. Last time it grew a leaf was over the winter and somehow, the new leaf stopped growing at an early stage and a new flower spike grew. I'm curious to see how big the leaf will grow this time.

By the way, all the flowers started to fall off. In the past few days, about four dropped. Now there are four older ones and these two new ones.
The spike tip seems like it will keep on making more buds.

I think the dropping of flowers has to do with this plant switching into growth mode.
It is growing a new leaf that's getting bigger and bigger day by day.
