Yes, it's mottled like the parents (both of them are). While going through old pics to find one of the leaves, I noticed that the spotting on the lip is much much more intense this time. There are a lot more spots, very closely together. I put up a pic from a previous blooming in 2010 for comparison.

Oh, I just love your Wiganiae!
The shape and colours are much better than on mine. I'll show mine the pictures of your Wiganiae's flowers (wonderful pictures by the way) so it'll know what I expect from it.

What are the leaves (spotting/colour )compared to last time?

Same as usual! I think the spotting may be different this time because I kept the plant on the windowsill this tim while the buds were growing (needed the space under the lights for my tomato seedlings). At night it gets a bit cool between the curtain and window, so maybe the lower temp led to the more intense spotting.

Ooo - beautiful blooms! I'm glad it decided to give you another spike! Sometimes they are quite determined to bloom (thank goodness!)
