Phal Sogo Lovely in flower
I love this hybrid and this it's first rebloom for me
I didn't get around to staking the spike, but I quite like the way it ended up. I also love the deep ridges in the texture of these flowers. Not something I've seen on many other phals. They are relatively small flowers on a standard size phal, but there seem to always be lots of them on a many branched spike.
The close up pics were taken in June when only a few flowers were open. The other two pics were taken this week.

its a magnificent show of blooms...and I like the way your plant moved downside, the crown can easily dry but the roots still get moisture...it also lets your flowers go free and give in to gravity

Wow Rosie, that's spectacular! Looks like the weight of the spike is going to pull the plant straight out of the pot. Wish I could get higher flower counts, but my plants hae not liked the irregular care and the excessive moving around in the past 18 months.... I have one that's supposed to have lush spikes like yours, but this year it looks like it's only going to have 2 buds. Same story for nearly everything else that's bloomed lately. I feel like a terrible orchid mommy...

Great one, Rosie ! Very similar to my Ever Spring Light (RIP) !!! Wouldn't surprise me if it's in your Sogo Lovely's background. Do you know the parentage ?

Sogo Lovely is (Timothy Christopher x Golden Peoker), and Timothy Christopher is (Cassandra x aphrodite). This is a multi-floral white crossed with one of the mutant Golden Peokers which begat all of the harlequin Phalaenopsis. An observation, and one I have never seen explained, is that regardless of the good form of the parents (and the Golden Peokers had pretty decent form), the first generation of harlequin Golden Peoker hybrids had pretty awful form(with some notable exceptions). Yours is one of the better of the crop. It has taken several generations to get back to awardable form.
(revision)Ever-Spring Light is (Ever-spring Star x Golden Peoker)

Msaar, on the thread Never seen one like it. Have you? page 2 we had this conversation. Ever Spring Light is a 2nd generation of Golden Peoker's mutants that breeds true.
Here's the link; Golden Peoker
And a pix of Ever S.L.
