This is a re-spike because I was trying to grow a keiki but got a spike instead. I believe this is because I applied the keiki paste during cool temperatures. Even though the instructions say to apply about a week after the last flower opens, I have read that temperature has a greater affect on keiki production (ORCHIDS JANUARY 2007
