Hello Everyone,

This is Phal. Taisuco Date. My Mom bought it for me on a recent trip to Lowe's in Lake Wales, FL; she knew I had been wanting a yellow Harlequin type. But, sadly it blew over the day I got it and both spikes were broken (the plant was uninjured). The blooms only kept about a week in vase in the house so all I have is this picture until it blooms again next year (I am hoping it will bloom again sooner). But, anyway I thought I would post it for you all to enjoy.

It's very pretty. Thank you for sharing! I'm sorry that the spike was broken. It was suggested to me by a member of the OB that if you must cut a spike or one gets broken to put it in a vase of clean water and a little sugar. Change the water every other day or so. I was able to keep a Den spike like this for some time. Hopefully, you will not ever have to use that tip!

Very pretty blooms! I like the lip on the blooms, it looks very colorful. It's a shame that the spikes broke.
